GENERAL ALLPLAN SUBSCRIPTION FAQ:
Subscription is a form of contract whereby you subscribe for a certain period of time to access software and services.
Of course, you receive access to the software edition that you have selected for the length of term purchased. You will also be entitled for the duration of this term to access ALLPLAN Cloud services, which includes BIMPLUS, and tools for efficient office teamworking, efficient teamwork on projects across network and company boundaries, as well as for management and distribution of drawings. Boost your BIM workflows to the next level with market leading product integrations, such as model checking with Solibri Inside, or the AutoConverter for integration with multiple structural analysis tools. You will also have access to our Technical Support teams and online training resources and new software versions are instantly available to you throughout the duration of your subscription term.
Currently, you can subscribe monthly, yearly or for three years. All our subscriptions automatically renew based on the initially chosen subscription term. Should you wish to discontinue your subscription, you need to cancel your subscription contract under observance of the contractually agreed notice period. (1 month for a monthly subscription /3 months for a one-year or 3-year subscription term).
In our shop you can choose between different payment terms (one month, one year or three years) and between different payment methods, which may vary in different countries.(SEPA, credit card or Paypal)
However, regardless of which package you choose, the payment terms apply for the entire duration of the subscription.
The subscription continues until it is cancelled. Once cancelled you will automatically lose access to the software and services at the end of term.
Yes, we offer the purchase of perpetual licenses of ALLPLAN Ultimate, ALLPLAN Civil and ALLPLAN Precast, with a mandatory Serviceplus contract for the first year, renewable thereafter. With a perpetual license and the annual Serviceplus contract, you receive the software version at the time of purchase, plus all updates for one year from the date of purchase. The perpetual license does not include access to services such as ALLPLAN Cloud.
The principal benefits of subscription contracts depend on the client but are mostly flexibility of approach – such that there is a low fee/cost based on your chosen subscription term. Also, the term of subscription is variable allowing greater choice, flexibility/commitment, or cost security. Finally, you always benefit from the latest software version and ALLPLAN Cloud services during your subscription together with access to technical support expertise.
Once you have decided how long you wish to subscribe to receive a license, currently either monthly (via ALLPLAN Shop only), yearly or for three years, you purchase your subscription. The terms of payment are in advance for the entire term of the subscription contract. Purchase can be done via the ALLPLAN shop, your ALLPLAN sales contact, or Authorized ALLPLAN Sales Partner.
There are a few ways to decide to choose ALLPLAN. We offer a 14-day free trial of ALLPLAN from all our websites. Following this, if you are still undecided, maybe you would prefer to take a monthly subscription prior to committing to a one- or three-year subscription term. If you are looking for flexibility, a low upfront cost/fee based on your term, with access to services including Technical Support, with the peace of mind of always having the latest software version for maximum productivity benefits, then subscription could be for you.
It is very easy to add more licenses at any time. Simply access our ALLPLAN Shop or contact your ALLPLAN sales contact, or ALLPLAN Authorised Sales Partner. We would be happy to arrange your additional subscription licence/s.

Serviceplus to Subscription - General FAQ:
Your existing license for the software configuration you have will be converted to an ALLPLAN Subscription license. This means, you will get full access to all ALLPLAN Cloud Services (for more details on what is included, see below). You will still have access to our Technical Support teams and online training resources. New software versions are instantly available to you.
When you convert to ALLPLAN Subscription, you lose access and rights to your perpetual license/s.
No. As you are an existing SSA/Serviceplus customer, you commit to a 12-months subscription contract, even though your ALLPLAN Subscription renewal price is fixed for 2 years. All our ALLPLAN Subscriptions automatically renew based on the initially chosen subscription term. Should you wish to discontinue your subscription, we need notice 3 months prior to the end of the subscription/contract term.
The subscription contract will be invoiced every 12 months (annually) before the start of the contract. The following payment terms can be selected: 14 days after invoicing for bank transfer, 30 days after invoicing for SEPA direct debit.
We convert your existing licenses to ALLPLAN Subscription contract licenses. This means, you surrender your perpetual right of usage and receive a 12-months subscription contract with 2 years prize freeze, which is automatically renewed every 12 months (annually).
Yes, the existing usage rights and terms and conditions of your existing contracts and licenses will continue to apply.
We have customers who decide to continue to work with old perpetual license products. However we strongly advise not to do so. The risks of using unsupported Software are high, i.e. security, stability, performance, data-compatibility etc. End of Life for software is common practice in the software industry and not an ALLPLAN specific action.
Please contact ALLPLAN or your local sales partner to make sure that your contracts will be switched at the same time.
