Germany/Munich, May 9, 2011 – The international service portal “Allplan Connect” is now online and enables interlinked working with Allplan on a new basis. At connect.allplan.com/, Allplan users and potential users benefit from extensive international content and functions: from a user forum, download libraries, and training offers through to technical support. The on-demand use of country-specific premium content is also possible. In addition to the German (GSA) and English language versions, localized offers will soon be online in French, Czech and Italian.
“The development and expansion of Allplan Connect is part of our strategy of helping Allplan customers increase their competitiveness. With a consistent web-based approach, we create a virtual space for time- and location-independent-exchange and effective collaboration. An overview of Allplan Connect content and functions
Allplan forum − international exchange:
The international user forum enables users to exchange information about various subjects relating to the CAD software Allplan. There are tips from users for users about architecture, engineering, tendering and costs, Cinema 4D, presentations and country-specific features. Technical support staff provides active assistance.
Premium content − predefined, country-specific CAD objects:
Allplan Connect provides CAD objects, optimized for Allplan, in order to visualize high-quality plans and models. Architects and engineers can search for predefined CAD data in a number of languages, easily download the data and then insert it in their Allplan CAD system using drag and drop. New data is made available every month.
Allplan support − complete support:
In the area of support, users have a contact form, which they can use to send online queries to technical support at any time. In the personal support area, users can see the processing status, and have an overview of their queries at all times.
Allplan download library – quick and easy:
Supporting Allplan materials such as manuals and tutorials, as well as Allplan software or updates, are available for download at any time.
Dates, information and training – always up-to-date:
The new portal offers numerous training options – online or in the classroom: In addition to more than 150 e-learning films and documents, numerous dates for webinars, jour fixes and specialist seminars are published; the range on offer is tailored to individual Allplan qualification levels.
