10 Jan 2011

Munich, January 11, 2010 – The focus of Nemetschek’s appearance at the BAU 2011 trade fair in Munich is on future-oriented additions to the Nemetschek Allplan CAD software, as well as a preview of the new Allplan Connect Internet portal. With the presentation platform called AllplanTV, the company will provide a live daily program of films, interviews and other topics around Allplan.

"Welcome to a future where everything is possible!" This is the motto that Nemetschek Allplan GmbH is using to present its product portfolio at BAU 2011 (January 17 to 22, 2011), the world’s leading trade fair for architecture, building materials and systems. As a leading provider of information technology for the AEC sector, Nemetschek Allplan develops integrated solutions for all phases of the building life cycle.

This year’s focus is on the core features of Allplan 2011. This includes greater ease of use, improved performance, efficient exchange of design data, and Internet integration to provide a comprehensive information platform.

Cloud computing is becoming increasingly important. Presentation of the new Allplan Connect international Internet portal will give visitors a preview of a networked working environment with Allplan. The portal includes download options for software updates, CAD objects and materials for visualization. This will make it possible to use intelligent content "on demand". Allplan Connect also provides access to technical support and an international user forum.

A broad spectrum of information media
Special info stations that use new, localized sound technology and multi-touch screens add another layer to the Nemetschek Allplan trade fair strategy: Visitors can use these stations to call up wide-ranging product information and user examples. As usual, staff will be on hand to answer any questions.

Another highlight this year is Allplan TV. This public-access, live TV channel allows customers and prospective customers to participate in films or interviews. The program will run daily Monday to Saturday from 10 AM to 4 PM, and will also be available to view on the Nemetschek website.

In the VIP lounge, Serviceplus customers will have the opportunity to take a sneak preview of future Allplan developments, find out about specific research areas and engage in more detailed discussions on a wide range of subjects.
In addition to Nemetschek Allplan, the Nemetschek Construction Group and Nemetschek Engineering Group will also be present at the trade fair with new developments to show. Companies such as Auer, Bausoftware, Scia, Friedrich + Lochner, Glaser and Nemetschek Engineering will be represented in a nearby separate area.
