21 Dec 2010

Munich, December 22, 2010 – Architect and long-term Allplan user Markus Philipp has completely revised the German Allplan 2011 Practical Manual and added a new demo project. The manual is aimed at beginners and advanced users who want learn about or improve their knowledge of the latest version of the Allplan Architecture CAD software from Nemetschek Allplan.

The manual describes all the functions and processes that are important in order to work most efficiently with Allplan 2011. Additions include a section on the façade modeler, as well as a quick look at the 3D modeler. The section on layout plotting has been heavily revised to reflect the many changes to this feature in Allplan 2011.

The comprehensive demo project includes the individual planning steps of data import (site plan) and creation of a building model starting with sections, views, quantity takeoff and lists to layout and then output to paper or as a file. The building model makes the generation of views, sections and lists semi-automated. You will find German data for all the examples described in the book, at www.zeichenatelier.de/Allplan2011. You can order a free 30-day demo version of Allplan 2011 at www.allplan.com.

The Allplan 2011 Practical Manual is published in German by Hanser Fachbuchverlag and costs 49.90 Euros.
